A partnership consisting of the Hinesville Development Authority and Georgia Southern University (herein referred to as the Partners) was awarded a matching grant of $750,000 to construct a $1,500,000 business incubator to serve the Liberty County area. The purpose of the facility is to increase the economic competitiveness of the region through the offering of programs that lead to new businesses being formed and jobs being created. This new facility will be partially funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The Hinesville Development Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide architectural services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior design and other associated design services. Specifically, the Authority will evaluate qualifications and proposals from qualified firms for design and construction administration services related to the construction of a business incubator facility located at 207 West Memorial Drive, Hinesville, GA. The primary objective is to select an architectural firm that, in conjunction with the Development Authority and Georgia Southern University staff, will provide an efficient and effective building to house the Business Incubator
