Maricopa County extends an invitation to interested and qualified firms or individuals to submit formal electronically sealed Statements of Qualifications to provide
Term Mechanical Engineering Services  services and construction administration services as described herein.  Services to be performed may include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform conceptual and feasibility studies of project alternatives.  2. Prepare preliminary design reports.  3. Prepare plans, specifications, estimates (opinions of construction cost) and other design related documents.  4. Provide computer aided design and support.  5. Prepare and

process permit applications for applicable building, and various regulatory permits.  6. Perform record drawing, utility, or other searches.  7. Perform field investigations.  8. Perform mechanical plumbing engineering design services.  9. Assist County staff as needed to review and recommend award of construction contracts.  10. Assist County staff with energy and efficiency studies.  11. Provide commissioning and retro-commissioning assistance as required.  12. Provide construction phase services, including periodic site visits, review of shop drawings and submittals, and preparing responses to Contractor Requests for Information (RFIs). 13. Prepare record (“as built”) drawings and project closeout documents. 14. Attend monthly coordination and other project meetings as necessary. 15. Provide engineering support as required for County technology projects.  16. Coordinate with other County consultants and contractors as needed on projects while acting either in a lead or subconsultant role. 17. Other services as requested
It is the intent of Maricopa County to award multiple contracts for similar engineering services (a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of six (6)) to separate person(s) or firm(s).
 
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for this procurement.
