The U.S. Geological Survey, Reston Stable Isotope Laboratory (RSIL) conducts research on the use of stable hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios of organic material. RSIL seeks a new vacuum-equilibration preparation system for measurement of nonexchangeable hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in organic material by isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS), and technical support. Requirements are provided under Specifications/Salient Characteristics, section B.2.This is a firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and open to all business sizes and categories.The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to the Government. The Instructions for Proposals and Evaluation Factors are in section E.3 and E.5. A vendor must be registered at beta.sam.gov to be awarded the contract.The deadline for quote packages is February 16, 2022. Questions submitted by February 14, 2022.
