Village TreasurerVillage of WinneconneThe Village of Winneconne, Wisconsin (pop. 2,502) is accepting applications to fill the position of Village Treasurer. The Treasurer is responsible for collection, receipt, and deposit of all Village funds. The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring that the general ledger is accurate. The Treasurer oversees payroll and benefits administration, tax collection, dog licensing, accounts receivable, cash management, debt management, and records management functions. The Treasurer also performs other duties as assigned, including customer service.Position requires occasional overtime work. Required Experience, Education, and TrainingTwo (2) year associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Business, or a related field, OR equivalent accounting experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn municipal bookkeeping software and county-provided computer systems for dog licensing. Treasury experience is preferred.Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and physical.Starting wage is $19.23 - $24.03 DOQ plus an excellent benefits package, including employer-sponsored health insurance, Wisconsin ETF pension, and paid time off.
