The Parish of St. Charles, hereby advertises bids for construction of West Bank A Plant Filter Upgrade under Project No. WWKS97 as follows: Owner: St. Charles Parish Project Title: West Bank A Plant Filter Upgrade Project No.: WWKS97 Principal Work Location: West Bank A Filter Plant Description of Basic Work: The work consists of installing new filter underdrain systems, filter media and replacing leaded joints and existing piping. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL RECORDS OFFICE, Parish of St. Charles, 15045 River Road, Courthouse 3rd Floor, Hahnville, Louisiana, 70057, either by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, or hand delivered, or electronically submitted at www.centralbidding.com, no later than 10:00 a.m. local time on March 17, 2020. Promptly thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of the

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in accordance with the Public Bid Law, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Bidding Documents: The Bidding Documents (Contract Documents, Specifications and Drawings) are available to Contractors who are properly licensed in Louisiana or to bona fide suppliers of materials and equipment for purchase and/or review at the office of the Engineer for the contract, Design Engineering, Inc. located at 3330 W. Esplanade Avenue, Suite 205 Metairie, Louisiana 70002. A payment of $ 100.00 in cash or check payable to the Engineer will be required for each complete set of the Bidding Documents. Attendance of the Pre-Bid Conference is Non-mandatory. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond.
