REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 22-10767 California Immunization Registry 3 (CAIR3) Project

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to request feedback on draft requirements, anticipated vendor tasks, and a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost and effort estimate for the California Immunization Registry 3 (CAIR3) Project. CAIR3 is California¿s statewide Immunization Information System (IIS). An important activity in identifying a solution for CAIR3 is conducting market research. Market research will enable the CDPH team to understand viable alternatives in the marketplace and their ability to meet CDPH business and technology needs. To accomplish this objective, CDPH is issuing this RFI with a focus on the following: - Obtain feedback from prospective bidders regarding the draft requirements for the CAIR3 project, the feasibility of technology solutions to meet these requirements, the scope of services necessary to implement the solution, and cost and effort estimates. - The information obtained from this RFI may be partially or fully used to further develop requirements for the CAIR3 project for any future solicitation. As a prospective RFI Respondent (prime contractor or subcontractor) your feedback is considered very important to the State. - Based on the analysis of feasible alternatives, CDPH may choose to procure an existing Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution along with any necessary modifications, engage a qualified integrator to enhance the current IIS system, or build a new IIS as a Software as a Service (SaaS) on a cloud
