CWA1020/ AIP-3-55-0052-TBD Contract 1 Sealed hard copy proposals for the work described herein will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Bureau of Aeronautics at the Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) in the Airport Administration Office, whereupon the sealed proposals received as provided above will be publicly opened and read. Bidders wishing to submit their bid by mail may do so at their own risk. Bids received through mail later than the time set forth above, will be returned unopened. The correct mailing/shipping address is: Central Wisconsin Airport, Attention: Assistant Airport Director, 100 CWA Drive, Ste 227, Mosinee, WI 54455. Sending bid documents by “Priority Mail” may not guarantee timely delivery to the Airport Administration Office. Description of equipment being purchased: One (1) new Aircraft
Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Vehicle in accordance with FAA AC 150/5220-10E, 3.4 VEHICLE PROCUREMENT SPECIFICATION, CLASS 4 AIRCRAFT RESCUE AND FIRE FIGHTING (ARFF) VEHICLE Proposal Specifications: Proposal Specifications will be provided electronically to all bona fide bidders. They can be requested by contacting the CWA Assistant Airport Director at 715-693-2147 x7, or by email at mcihlar@fly-cwa.org. Proposals are subject to the provisions of Wis. Stat. §66.0901(1)(c) (1971). CWA is not liable for any costs incurred by firms in responding to this Request for Bids. Proposal guaranty: Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified or cashiers check made payable to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary for 5% of the total amount bid. Certified checks will be drawn on the account of the bidder submitting the proposal. Contract Award: The contract resulting from this procurement action, if awarded, will be with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation - Bureau of Aeronautics, on behalf of the Secretary of Transportation, the authorized agent for CWA, in accordance with Wis. Stat. §114.32(3) (1983). The right is reserved by CWA and the Bureau to accept or reject any or all submissions or to waive any informality, or to accept the bid, which best serves the interest and intent of the various needs of the airport. Affidavit of non-collusion: The required affidavit of non-collusion will be incorporated as part of the proposal cover provided to each prospective bidder. Failure to complete the sworn statement will make the bid non-responsive and not eligible for award consideration. By signing the proposal cover each bidder by, or on behalf of the person, firm, association, or corporation submitting the bid, certifies that such person, firm, association, or corporation has not, either directly or indirectly, entered into agreement, participated in any collusion, or otherwise taken any action, in restraint of free competitive bidding in connection with the submitted bid. This sworn statement will be executed and sworn to by the bidder before a person who is authorized by the laws of the state to administer oaths.
