This solicitation is for the qualified firms to provide Multi-Sports improvements at Palmer Park, located at (19021 Woodward Ave). The Palmer Park proposed improvement project includes removal of existing deteriorated walkways and site old furnishings, installation of several Asphalt walkways, Baseball Field Renovations, Volleyball Court, Fitness Equipment, and Park Site Amenities such as Bike Racks, Benches and Trash Receptacles and some alternates. During the period between posting of this solicitation and final award notification,
 
a bidder must not communicate, directly or indirectly, with the City of Detroit Department(s) for whom the solicitation is posted for, or its employees, agents, contractors, or officials regarding any aspect of this procurement activity,  unless otherwise approved in writing by the Chief Procurement Officer. All communication concerning this solicitation shall be with

the Bid Contact(s) listed for this solicitation and shall be through the Q&A portal or email only. No phone calls shall be accepted. Failure to adhere to these restrictions may result in disqualification of your offer, suspension or debarment, and may constitute a violation of law.

Palmer Park_3-Scope of Work .
Equalization credits will be applied as outlined in the attached Equalization Credit Statement 3.1.19 and other documentation.

Confirm delivery of salvage light poles to Chandler Park by contractor:
Contractor is responsible for salvage and delivery of only historic light poles to Chandler Park Service Yard (5650 Conner, Detroit, MI 48213). Co-ordinate with David Sumner, 313-269-0128 for delivery schedule. Other light poles to be legally dispose off site.


Clarification of 1.C. Demolition, concrete removal:
Under Demolition, Part C. Concrete Removal: Disregard or eliminate text “Offset 4’ from the back of existing baseball fence and saw cut approximately 65 LF concrete”.
