The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain spare assemblies of Pulse Forming Network (PFN) on a specification basis. All spares for the NEXRAD Severe Weather Radar system are required to be identical to the item which was provided with the original equipment. It is not possible to substitute for this item or use a suggested replacement. Any logical spares must meet fit, form and function identical to the original equipment item. Sora Power, Inc considers this item proprietary and so is the only known accepted source. No other manufacturer has made or been approved as a qualified source.
