mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Worthington Manor, 34 Worthington Drive, Westbrook, CT, on March 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Community Room. All prospective bidders are required to attend.A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, must be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Westbrook Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder. A I 00% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS circular 570.The attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of Davis-Bacon wages, compliance with certain local, state and federal requirements including but not limited to Section 3.
