NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN ORDER. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order to IPSOS Public Affairs, LLC, 2020 K Street, NW Ste. 410, Washington, DC 20006 for Ongoing Assessment of COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccination Receipt and Related Knowledge and Attitudes Among Adults.The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541910 Marketing Research and Public Opinion Polling, with a size standard of $20 million.*****The National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) Immunization Services Division (ISD), has a requirement for a proposed project that will utilize existing probability-based omnibus panel surveys of the general adult U.S. population to assess KABBs related to influenza and COVID-19 vaccines twice monthly for twelve months. The questions would determine influenza vaccination status since July 1, 2021, receipt of and intent to receive a
COVID-19 vaccine and booster dose, reasons for receipt or non-receipt of COVID-19 vaccine or booster, and hesitancy toward other vaccines. Findings will be used to develop strategies and communications to increase booster dose vaccination overall and in key priority groups; to develop strategies and communications for implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. The contractor shall use their existing probability-based omnibus panel survey to collect data twice a month from a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults on: 1) for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, influenza vaccination status, month of vaccination, intent to receive influenza vaccination, and if not, why not; 2) COVID-19 vaccination status, intent to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, and reasons why or why not; 3) other influenza and COVID-19 vaccination related KABB; and 4) membership in key priority groups for vaccination.
