Researches available grant opportunities; facilitates the application process by preparing, writing, reviewing, and submitting application materials; and
ensures compliance with applicable grants, if any.

Assists management in a variety of tasks, including identification and recommendations for proactive measures to implement short and long-range plans and program development.

Assists in the, preparation, revision, and implementation of the Department oriented plans and forecasting documents.

Works with management to streamline processes and develop written policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various Department functions.

Designs and executes creative strategies; thinks outside the box to resolve problems and builds critical relationships.

Assists in development/implementation of marketing/PR activities.

Assists with development and management of software needs.

Manages compliance with applicable state and federal record retention schedules.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or in a field related to assigned area; five (5) years performing analytical work in public administration along with experience working with computer software related to assigned area; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Licensing, Certification, and Other Requirements:
Possess a valid Class D Arizona driver's license (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
