Advertisement for Bids –28th Place Roundabout postdate:- 24-Mar-2024 12:00:00 AM CDT responsedate:- 16-Apr-2024 10:00:00 AM CDT ( 2d, 18h+ ) description:- ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City of Rogers, hereinafter called the Owner, will accept sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment needed for the reconstruction of the Project identified as ‘28TH PLACE ROUNDABOUT’, located in Rogers, Arkansas. The project consists of the construction of a roundabout at the existing intersection of S. 28th Place and W. Pleasant Grove Rd. This will include, but not be limited to: demolition as required; asphalt and concrete removal; full depth pavement removal; storm and sanitary sewer main extension; water main extension; curb and gutter; structural subgrade fill placement; base course; hot mixed asphaltic concrete binder and surface courses; permanent pavement markings and striping; sidewalks; construction of a 26’-6” center island, and landscaping.

Electronic or sealed bids will be accepted at the City of Rogers City Clerk’s Office, 301 W. Chestnut St., Rogers, Arkansas, until 10:00 am local time on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at which time the bids will be publically opened and read aloud. Sealed bids should be addressed to: City of Rogers, City Clerk, 301 West Chestnut St., Rogers, AR, 72756. Bids received after the above time and date will be rejected. Bid security, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders, in the amount of five percent of the Bid amount must accompany the submitted bid. Any questions pertaining to the bid documents can be directed to the Owners representative, CEI Engineering and Associates, located at 2600 NE 11th Street, Suite 300, Bentonville, AR 72712. Bidders shall make such inspection and studies of the site of the work as to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered. Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the Central Bidding online Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from Central Bidding in order to be included in the Plan Holders List. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in Article 3.01 of the Bid Form to verify receipt. The City of Rogers hereby notifies all Bidders that this contract is subject to applicable Labor Laws, Non-discrimination Provisions, Wage Rate Laws and other Federal Laws including The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of The Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this project. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent of the contract amount, as security for the faithful performance of the work and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least 120 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or bid alternate, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner.
