This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12505B21Q0078 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. 1,250 employees.The government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order.  The basis for award will be lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). The USDA-ARS in Ames, Iowa, has the need for the following:0001)    All parts,  materials, and labor necessary to provide and install a new master control panel, air injector and complete pipeline washer system for the existing milking machine system.INSTALLATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ONE DAY, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:30AM AND 3:30PM LOCAL TIME. Site visit is encouraged. See attached SOW for specifications.SUBMISSION OF QUOTESSubmit signed and dated offers to the office specified in this solicitation at or before the exact time specified in this solicitation. Offers may be submitted on the SF 1449, letterhead stationery, or as otherwise specified in the solicitation.
