Wednesday, July 26, 2023 @ 5:00 p.m., at which time bids will be unsealed electronically. In case of emailed bid or any correspondence concerning the bid, the district will not be held responsible for missent, lost or late emails. Any bid not submitted by the deadline for submitting the bid, will be considered not timely filed and therefor, will be disqualified. **PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU VISIT THE DISTRICT’S PURCHASING DEPARTMENT WEBSITE (www.psjaisd.us) IN ORDER TO DOWNLOAD ANY AND ALL ADDENDUMS PERTAINING TO THIS BID/PROPOSAL** NO FAXED BID WILL BE ACCEPTED. LATE OR INCOMPLETE BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE / NON-CONFORMING. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the opening date and time, but only in accordance with Attribute 4 of the bids Attribute Section entitled “Withdrawing (Retracting) Responses or Modification of Bid”. No Federal or State Tax is to be included in the bid price. All prices bid must be F. O. B. Pharr, Texas. SCOPE AND INTENT: 1. This is an "open catalog" bid for purchases as funds become available; however, there is no commitment to purchase any given number of products or dollars. 2. It is anticipated that the term of the contract shall be for twelve (12) months beginning September 1,2023 through August 31, 2024. All prices bid shall be guaranteed not to increase during the term of contract. If however, there is a general price decrease during the term of contract; such decreases must be extended to the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District. 3. Payment will be net thirty (30)days after acceptance of delivery. 4. All prices bid shall include shipping / handling fees. 5. NO GUARANTEED ANNUAL VOLUME: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School district schools will place orders from the approved vendors(s), according to the shelf price / catalog price less the applicable discount allowed or cost plus percentage on an "AS NEEDED BASIS". Zero percent (0%) discount from firms will be considered if submitted. Failure to bid will disqualify a vendor from providing products, or services for the term of the contract. This bid will be received in electronic form for the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District for: School & Office Furniture Equipment, Services, and Supplies Catalog Bid # 23-24-015 in accordance with the attached specifications, terms and conditions. It is not the policy of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District to purchase on the basis of low price alone, quality and suitability also are controlling factors.
