NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 34399 Great Northwest, Inc. Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: Great Northwest, Inc. PROJECT NAME: LAS 34399 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Existing gravel pad and material site adjacent to the former Dalton Hwy alignment that travels northbound from the current Dalton Hwy between milepost 18 and 19. Milepost 28 Pit along the current Dalton Hwy. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Sections 6 and 7, Township 9 North, Range 7 West, Fairbanks Meridian. Section 15, Township 10 North, Range 8 West, Fairbanks Meridian. REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Operation and maintenance of a temporary construction camp; staging office trailers; and storing fuel, equipment, and trailers in support of the DOT Dalton Highway reconstruction between mileposts 18 and 37. The camp will accommodate between 40-60 campers owned by employees. The application proposes to install a DEC approved, temporary septic system

on site for black and grey water disposal. Power to the site will be supplied by a central camp generator with water hauled from a Yukon River water source. Diesel fuel for the generator will be supplied via a fuel truck. Solid waste will be collected in a dumpster and disposed of by a commercial vendor. The sites will be occupied seasonally between April and November. PROPOSED TERM OF USE: Two years DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 31, 2023 The public is invited to comment on this activity.
