Weber County Purchasing, on behalf of the Road's Department, invites your company to bid on providing chipping and/or tack oil. CONTENTS: If any provision or specification in this "Invitation to Bid" (ITB) is ambiguous or is disputed by a bidder, the bidder must notify the County Purchasing Division prior to the opening of the bids. No dispute or protest concerning the ambiguity of these specifications or provisions of the ITB shall be accepted following opening of the bids. SCOPE OF WORK & SPECIFICATIONS Amounts are not guaranteed, will order as needed. Approximately 300 tons each of CRS-2p and LMCRS-C2 Chipping Oil. Will be picked up by a County designated contractor throughout 2024. The department will use approximately 30 tons per day. Also, the county would like to have the option of delivery for both CRS-2p and LMCRS-2 Chipping Oil. In the items section, please include a price for CRS-2p and LMCRS-2 Chipping Oil - Delivered. Approximately 30 tons of CSS-1H Diluted 2:1 Tack Oil. Will be picked up by Weber County throughout 2024, as needed. All costs must include any/all additional charges including, but not limited to shipping/handling, delivery, installation, demurrage etc. Please state the point of pick-up. The County will consider the price of oil as well as distance to the pickup when determining the lowest responsible vendor. QUESTIONS: Questions shall be submitted through SciQuest Utah Public Procurement Place https://solutions.sciquest.com/apps/Router/SupplierLogin?Custorg=StateOfUtah. Questions are due prior to the question due date and time specifiied in SciQuest. If a question/answer changes the ITB, the change will be released in an addendum to the ITB. Do NOT contact the Agency, Division, Department, or other County officers or employees. AWARD: County will determine the low bidders based upon price(s) bid. The County reserves the right to award multiple purchase orders to the responsive, responsible bidders meeting specifications who bid the lowest overall cost to the County. Weber County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bids, if to do so is in the best interest of the County.
