PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), W912P522B0024, for a firm-fixed price construction contract to construct the National Historic Preservation Project for Construction of Viewing Platform/General-Purpose Building of Former K-25 Building Footprint, Roads and Grounds Improvements, and Delineation located in Oak Ridge, TN. The scope of work will be attached with the solicitation announcement. The solicitation is expected to be released on or around 19 December 2022. The intended start date for this project is approximately thirty (30) days after contract award. Pre-Proposal Site VisitA Pre-Bid organized Site Visit has been scheduled during this solicitation period. Offerors should inspect the job site prior to submitting a bid. Offerors should take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or the cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve Offerors from the responsibility for properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work.
