Scope of Work The City of Ocoee, Florida (City), in conformance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes Section 287.055, and the policies and procedures of the City of Ocoee (City) is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms (Respondent, Firm) to design the Master Downtown Stormwater System.
The successful Firm will demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated experience in design of master stormwater management facilities for use as public parks, including design as natural systems with emphasis on the public realm in an urban environment, and using a combination of native vegetation and hardscape.
2. The ability to design a master stormwater management facility to serve the Study Area 2 planned development as shown in Feasibility Study Area 2 Alternative No. 5 (Figure 20).
3. Secure all necessary permits and provide construction documents.
4. Complete the analysis of the FEMA special flood hazard areas (SHFAs) as incorporated in the Phase 1 Feasibility Study and submit a FEMA application for Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) to officially revise the effective SHFAs if the 2017 analysis predicts any reduction in flood hazards.
