MILL CREEK BRIDGE #1 ROAD NO. 309 - M.P. 0.9
The project consists of the removal of an existing timber bridge and the construction of a new 67'-0" span by 16'-0" useable width concrete bulb tee bridge with a concrete grade beam foundation. The bridge is located on Forest Service Road No. 309 (milepost 0.9) at the Mill Creek stream crossing. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to: structure excavation, placement of riprap, installation of foundation fill, installation of concrete grade beams, installation of bulb tee beams, installation of cast-in-place concrete end diaphragms/wingwalls and curb, embankment and excavation of the roadway approaches, and placing new crushed aggregate surfacing.
The project is located in the Salmon River Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, southeast of Grangeville in Idaho County, Idaho (Section 27, Township 29 North, Range 4 East).
Government cost estimate for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
Work on the project site shall commence no earlier than June 1, 2018, and proceed in accordance with the contractor's approved work schedule and run continuously till the end of the project no later than September 30, 2018. All in-stream work must take place between
July 15 and August 30, 2018 unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer (CO).
Full solicitation shall be posted to FBO in early August. Acquisition has been set-aside for certified HUBzone small businesses.
Solicitation issued 7/31/2017. Original bid bonds required.
