AdministrationGlen Burnie Maintenance Facility910 Stewart AvenueGlen Burnie, Maryland 21061 The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking pricing for a contractor to provide preventative maintenance service, maintenance, and repair services on three (3) heavy truck lifts at the Glen Burnie Maintenance Shop located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The duration/term of the contract is twenty-four (24) months or total payments of 50,000, whichever comes first. The service provided must be in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. The anticipated contract start date is Monday, January 29, 2023.This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract Refer to Attachment No. II for further information regarding this program.A Pre-Bid Conference will NOT be held. A site visit to examine the equipment will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM local time.It is recommended all bidders to visit the Glen Burnie Maintenance Shop and familiarize themselves with the equipment to provide with the accurate cost of work.All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Officer no later than Monday, January 8, 2023, at 12:00 PM local time.Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested in writing and delivered no later than this date and time. Responses to questions or inquiries having any material effect on the bids shall be made by written addenda sent to all prospective bidders via eMaryland Market Place Advantage (emmer). The Administration will not respond to telephone requests for information concerning this invitation for bids that would materially affect the bid.Requests for information or questions shall be submitted in writing.
