Excavation1) Obtain City of Nashua Street Opening permit and a Permit to Encumber.2) Conditions: Site is accessible from Ash Street through a 12 wide gate. Protectexisting curbing and asphalt from damage using plywood/cribbing or rubbertracked equipment.3) Coordinate scheduling with electrician and City inspector to minimize trenchopen time.4) Provide 24 wide 36 deep smooth-bottom trench from utility pole to new servicelocation. Saw cut and remove asphalt for 12 beyond trench sides. Remove allspoils for disposal.; B. Electric Service1) Obtain City electrical permit and coordinate installation with Eversource. Existingpole must be held during excavation. Materials must be stored off-site or in alocked gang box.2) Install service conduit per Eversource guidelines.3) Install (2) 4 rigid galvanized metallic conduits with caps as bollards to supportthe service per drawings. Install 1-5/8 galvanized Unistrut as needed to supportequipment and conduit.
