Department of Homeland SecurityScience and Technology Directorate245 Murray Lane SWWashington, DC 20528-0075 Request For Information (RFI) Solicitation Number: 17_485 Date of Issue: November 19, 2018 RFI Title: DHS Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) Market Survey Purpose of RFI: Given the significant rise in sales and capabilities, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) have quickly become a security concern due to the ease with which they can aid in intelligence gathering and/or be used as a malicious delivery platform. Federal agencies responsible for protecting facilities, personnel, and critical assets have begun realizing the immediate need for counter systems to these UAS. DHS S&T is interested in researching, testing, and evaluating mitigation capabilities for CUAS technologies. This RFI seeks to identify candidate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) CUAS technologies and systems for evaluation in calendar year 2019, to aid in acquisition and deployment decisions.
