Scope of Work The Town of Fort Myers Beach, Florida is seeking bids from qualified companies to dredge approximately 3,230 cubic yards of material from Estero Bay near Big Carlos Pass. Also included in the work is the purchase and installation of nine (9) channel markers, the installation of ten (10) sea grass and manatee signs already purchased by the Town, and the installation of sixteen (16) sea grass buoys already purchased by the Town.

Bid packets may be picked up at Fort Myers Beach Town Hall, 2523 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. Prospective bidders requesting that the bid documents be mailed to them will be invoiced for $5.00 to cover the cost of shipping and handling. Any questions must be submitted in writing. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 06, 2008 at 9:00 AM at Town Hall for clarification about the project. Potential bidders are encouraged to attend.
