Pursuant to Chapter 403; Chapter 404; Chapter 2254, Subchapter A; and Section 1201.027 of the Texas Government Code., the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (“Comptroller”) announces its Request for Proposals No. 231d (“RFP“) from qualified, independent attorneys and law firms, who specialize in public finance law, to serve as legal counsel to Comptroller in connection with the issuance of Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes, Commercial Paper Notes, or other debt instruments authorized under Chapter 404, Subchapter H, of the Texas Government Code. The successful respondent will be expected to begin performance of the contract on or after March 15, 2023. The anticipated schedule of events pertaining to this solicitation is as follows: Issuance of RFP – January 26, 2023, after 10:00 a.m. CT; Questions Due – February 2, 2023, 2:00 p.m. CT; Official Responses to Questions posted – February 8, 2023, or as soon thereafter as practical; Proposals Due – February 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. CT, Contract Execution – March 15, 2023, or as soon thereafter as practical; and Commencement of Project Activities – on or after March 15, 2023.
