Public-Private Partnership to Support the Provision of Weekend and Emergency Meals NA

Purpose of the SolicitationNYC Aging, through its Home Delivered Meals Program (HDM), provides weekday meals that are diverse, nutritious, and quality for homebound older adults throughout the City. A separate NYC Aging-funded provider is currently procuring meals intended for use on weekends and meals intended for use during unknown emergencies. This Negotiated Acquisition (NA) (EPIN: 12524N0001) aims to expand the HDM program by establishing a public-private partnership to supply weekend and emergency meals for our HDM client network. The funds under this NA will be used by the selected contractor to support the administrative costs necessary to raise sufficient funding so that the contractor, and any subcontractor(s), can procure and deliver meals for weekend consumption and unforeseen emergencies.The ability to fundraise at the scale needed to provide meals to approximately 18,000 clients and coordinate the meal preparation and delivery of those meals is limited to certain vendors

in the City. NYC Aging invites those few selected vendors to respond to this solicitation. Responses will be evaluated and a single award will be determined that is most practicable or advantageous to the City. Responding providers should examine all NA documents for details about required elements of the program prior to submitting a proposal response to this NA. Proposed Term of the Contract(s)It is anticipated that the term of the contract awarded from this NA will be for three (3) years, starting July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed up to three times for a period of 1 year each.
