Construction of Active Transportation Improvements on Bayridge Drive – Phase 2 – Woodbine Road to Henderson BoulevardNotice of Intended Procurement - F18-ITES-TT-2024-03Closing Date: 04/05/2024 03:00:00 PM ETDetail: NOTICE OF INTENDED PROCUREMENT CITY OF KINGSTON - ONTARIO – CANADA Construction of Active Transportation Improvements on Bayridge Drive – Phase 2 – Woodbine Road to Henderson Boulevard NOTICE POSTED: March 22, 2024 PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE: The Corporation of the City of Kingston (“the City”) under its obligations to provide open, transparent, and non-discriminatory access pursuant to Annex 19-1 and Annex 19-6 of Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and Article 103 and Article 504 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) is announcing that it intends to undertake a Tender process for the Construction of Active Transportation Improvements on Bayridge Drive – Phase 2 – Woodbine Road to Henderson Boulevard. ANTICIPATED SCOPE: The City will be issuing a Tender
for Construction of Active Transportation Improvements on Bayridge Drive – Phase 2; including approximately 4km of boulevard pathways, intersection and lighting upgrades, concrete curb and sidewalk infills, pavement markings, signage and surface restorations. ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: The works are anticipated to occur over a two year period commencing in Summer 2024 with completion estimated for Fall 2025. The Tender is expected to be posted publicly in April 2024 with an anticipated closing date in May 2024. All interested potential Proponents will be invited to submit responses to the Tender once issued. The Tender will be posted on Biddingo.com - www.biddingo.com/kingston. Without exception, potential Proponents that do not submit responses to the Tender, by the submission deadline stated within the Tender document will not be considered. GENERAL: The City assumes no liability, responsibility, or obligation whatsoever to any potential Proponents or other parties with respect to any aspect of this Notice. The City has no obligation to reimburse or in any way compensate any potential Proponents or other parties for expenses incurred in connection with or resulting from its receipt, review, or response to this Notice.
