Bid Title:Cascade County Pretrial Services Plan/Program Category:County Attorney's OfficeStatus:Open Description: Cascade County Pretrial Services Plan/ProgramCascade County acknowledges Pretrial Services are needed to safeguard the public, ensure the accused will attend court appearances, help balance the jail population to reduce overcrowding, increase equity among those accused of a crime, and allow the accused to remain gainfully employed to support themselves and their families.The purpose of this plan is to define the parameters the Board of Cascade County Commissioners believes can be adequately monitored under a Cascade County Pretrial Services program. The Cascade County Pretrial Program is proposed as a one-year pilot program to determine its overall effectiveness and the county’s ability to financially sustain the program in future years. The program will be evaluated after the first six (6) months of operation and again after twelve (12) months of operation to determine its effectiveness and sustainability. The program will be reevaluated on a yearly basis to evaluate ongoing needs and number of participants.
