These Patrol Rifles will be used for new hire full time Wardens and the Deputy Warden /Boating Deputy program. We currently do not have Patrol Rifles to issue to these wardens. The Patrol Rifles that are not issued to these wardens will be used to issue out to wardens when a Patrol Rifle needs to be repaired. The purchase of these Patrol Rifles will keep them consistence with the Patrol Rifles the Warden Service currently has in inventory and there will be no retraining required for this Patrol Rifle. 2. Provide a brief justification for the selected vendor to supplement the response in Part Il. This service is specific to Windham Weaponry which is the sole manufacture of the Windham Weaponry HBC R16LHT AR- 15 223/556 Patrol Rifle. 3. Explain how the negotiated costs or rates are fair and reasonable; or how the funding was allocated to grantee. The vendor is the sole manufacture of the Windham Weaponry HBC R16LHT AR-15 223/556 Patrol Rifle. This will be a factory direct purchase with a Law Enforcement price.
