NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact / Record of Decision for FedEx ANCA Facility DevelopmentThe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Alaska Region, has issued a Final Environmental Assessment (Final EA) Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) / Record of Decision (ROD) to construct the FedEx ANCA Facility Development (Proposed Action) at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). The FAA issued its Final EA and FONSI/ROD on February 2, 2024. The Final EA and FONSI/ROD responds to agency and public comments received by the FAA and it updates the Draft EA, issued on September 15, 2023. The Final EA has been prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Pursuant to FAA Order 1050.1F and Executive Order 11990, notice is given that the Proposed Action would affect wetlands. The Proposed Action would construct a cargo building and associated vehicle wash building, an automobile parking area, a feeder aircraft parking apron, a new connection to Postmark Drive, grassed swales and a detention basin, new perimeter security fencing, and extend the water, storm drain, and sanitary sewer utilities to connect into existing utilities under Tug Road, Postmark Drive, and Sikorsky Avenue.
