The City of Santa Clara (City) is requesting proposals from Individuals, Firms or Teams (Proposers) to modernize the City’s revenue systems to facilitate the collection of a various business taxes. In recognition of the need to increase revenues, City voters in recent years have approved ballot measures that amend both the City’s Business License Tax program (BLT) and the City’s Transit Occupancy Tax (TOT). Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City will select one or more consultants to provide services to facilitate the efficient and effective transition of current processes and software in alignment with the approved ballot measures. Key deliverables include: 1) a review of current business processes; 2) the identification of process improvements 3) the provision of software and required enhancements and 4) audit services.
