concentrations which impact water quality and other environmental receptors. Native soils mixed with or contaminated wood treating waste and remediation systems in contact with contaminated soils are considered impacted hazardous waste. Past treatment methods of land treatment, irrigation, nutrient feed, and oil water separation have successively treated wood treating waste. This phase of the project requires the selected contractor to supply seed and fertilizer and apply both to the three distinct areas of the site: 8.8 acres of the Corrective Action Management Unit (CAMU); 8.3 acres of the Land Treatment Unit (LTU); and 23.2 acres of the remaining reclaimed areas. The project site is located in Butte, Montana just off US Highway 90 at exit 126 in Silver Bow County and includes one work area within Section 24, Township 3 North and Range 8 West, Montana Principal Meridian. The project site can be accessed from US Highway 90 traveling west in Butte, south on Montana Street, west on W Greenwood Avenue, then site access through roller gate north of Hollow Contracting.
