Interested Offerors:Questions & Answers (Q&A) resulting from Notice ID FAA_SatellitePhoneServices Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 693KA9-22-R-00009 posted in SAM.gov on May 26, 2022Question 1- Related SIR Requirement C.2, C.4.1: For the fixed terminals, do you need docking stations for each phone on location? Answer 1: Yes.Question 2- Related SIR Requirement C.4.2, C.4.3: Please describe the Fixed SATCOM installation and training requirements.Answer 2: Airtime/usage for our existing MSAT-G2 equipment and no training is required.Question 3; Related SIR Requirement L.2: The Contract Opportunity page in SAM.gov states that the NAICS is 517410, but Section L.2, AMS 3.6.1-17, says that the NAICS is 334220. Please change the L.2 reference to 517410.Answer 3: Both NAICs are applicable to this requirement.Question 4; Related SIR Requirement B.3-B.8, L.15.2.3: Should the offeror's prices include taxes and fees? Answer 4: Taxes will not be charged to the Government. Fees are to be
identified in accordance with the columns titled SIM/Activation Other Fees in Section B.3 - B.7 of the SIR.Question 5; Related SIR Requirement B.8, C.4.2, L.15.2.3: Should the offeror multiply the per-unit annual costs from the pricing tables in B.3-B.7 by the unit quantities in C.4.2 to get the Contract Estimated Value for each year? Please provide an instructions paragraph for B.8. Answer 5: You do not have to multiply by the unit quantities"Question 6; Related SIR Requirement C.5: How soon after contract award is the winning offeror expected to deliver the devices, given the ongoing global supply chain issues?Answer 6: A seamless conversion, month by month as existing airtime services expire naturally at the end of their annual periods is anticipated. Question 7; Related SIR Requirement RFQ: In order to allow offerors a reasonable amount of time to incorporate the Government response to questions, please provide offerors 10 business days after the release of answers to deliver quality proposals.Answer 7: The due date for proposals remains unchanged.
