This position will remain open until filledAbout the Role:Under the direction of the Park Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform all functions necessary for the construction and maintenance of the City’s parks, greenways, roadway boulevards, building grounds, and park facilities. This position may also be assigned to assist the Utility or Streets divisions in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the City’s water and sanitary sewer systems, or to perform snow removal and repair and maintenance of roadways. Decisions on day-to-day activities are made independently. Supervision received is limited. Daily work plans are discussed with daily review of progress. There is frequent interaction with the public and other public works staff. Part of an on-call rotation must be able to respond to the worksite within forty (40) minutes.
