THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Southern Arizona VA Health Care Systems (SAVAHCS to identify interested Contractors for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to SAVAHCS. WORK STATEMENT: Work consists of the construction of installation of a Pneumatic Tube Delivery System. This is turn-key equipment procurement in which the successful bidder will self-perform their own design of their pneumatic tube delivery system, materials procurement, software development, and is responsible for the installation of their system taking on all the duties
and responsibilities as the supplier, the installer, the general contractor, and the direct service support entity. The P-Tube transfer station system will have 4 destinations with 8 carrier stations in this scope. The main switching and blower motors will be expandable capable for a minimum of additional 6 duty areas for upcoming patient ward remodels. This delivery system will be centered on purposed 6 diameter carriers that will be used to transport blood lab samples, medications, and intravenous pouches at high speed to the VA Phoenix hospital s highest volume medical customers. NAICS CODE: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million CONTRACT ESTIMATED RANGE: $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: Any solicitation for the nature of work described in this sources sought is subject to the availability of funds. Should funding become available the Government will use responses to this notice as Market Research to develop an acquisition strategy.
