The City will be utilizing General, Federal, State and other funds for the projects. The list is not exhaustive and may include other services as directed or requested by City staff. The actual Scope of services will be determined on a project-by-project basis. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING: • Asbestos Surveys and Lead Paint Services (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, etc.) • Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I and Phase II). The assessment must describe and assess any recognized environmental conditions as defined by ASTM Standard E-1527-00 • Industrial Hygiene and Indoor Air Quality • Brownsfields Services • Landfills and Solid Waste • SWPPP Services • Remediation Services • Occupational Health and Safety • Underground Storage Tanks Close-out Reports • Soil Analysis Report • Soil Sampling Report • Regulatory Compliance • Mold, Fungal, and Legionella Services • Peer Reviews • Expert Witness The Consultant will be expected to work closely with staff for the duration of the assigned projects, and attend all meetings and workshops, as necessary. Other Details Notes The bidder is solely responsible for “on time” submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder’s sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. Special Notices Award of contract will be made by City Council. The City has established a local preference to vendors located within the City limits of Ontario a 1 3/4% advantage in the City's determination of low bid, and a 3/4% advantage of vendors outside the City but within the County of San Bernardino. The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests. Quantities listed are annual estimates only and not indicative of a guaranteed level of usage. Any items not listed on this bid shall be purchased at equivalent category discount.
