Caldwell County Schools 1914 Hickory Blvd., SW Lenoir, NC 28645 Telephone: 828-728-8407 Fax: 828-728-0012 Andy Puhl Assistant Superintendent Invitation to Bid Furniture for the Caldwell County Schools Board of Education Room December 2, 2022 Purpose: The purpose of this Notice to Bidders is to offer experienced vendors the opportunity to present a thorough and detailed proposal for the purchase and installation of furniture for the Board of Education room at the Caldwell County Schools District Office. Process: The process will include the review and evaluation of the purchase and installation of furniture. Past experience will also be judged by, but not limited to, the references provided by each vendor. A major portion, however, not all, of the negotiations will include the financial terms of the contract. After review of all proposals received, Caldwell County Schools will award a contract to the vendor whose proposal best meets the needs of Caldwell County Schools. If none of the
proposals submitted properly meet the needs nor are within budget, Caldwell County Schools reserves the right to decline all proposals and not award a contract at this time. General Stipulations: The scope of the project consists of: 1. Work tables that would accommodate approximately 100 people. Tables should roll and nest for storage. Tables that have the ability to connect to each other are preferred. 2. Approximately 120 chairs for seating. Chairs should roll and nest for storage. 3. Tables for the Board of Education that would accommodate 8 people. Tables should connect, and roll for storage. Tables also need to have a modesty panel and system for cable management. 4. A matching 2 drawer file cabinet with casters. 5. A matching lectern with casters. 6. Labor to receive, deliver, and install. 7. Include all applicable taxes, fees, installation, etc. with bid. Proposals will be received by Caldwell County Schools until 4:00 pm, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in the office of Andy Puhl, Assistant Superintendent of Caldwell County Schools located at 1914 Hickory Boulevard, Lenoir, NC 28645, for the purchase and installation of office furniture at the Caldwell County Schools Board Room. Proposals should be addressed to the attention of Andy Puhl, Assistant Superintendent.
