SECTION 00 1113 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the State of Ohio Economic Development Program PY20 Rudolph Foods Water Storage Tank Project will be received by the Board of Allen County Commissioners and the Allen Water District, 204 N. Main St., Ste 301, Lima, Ohio, 45801 until Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened at said office and read aloud. Bidders may attend the opening in-person or virtually by the following: Web: https://www.gotomeet.me/AllenCountyCommissioners Dial in: 1 866 899 4679 Access Code: 606-059-605 The Project includes the complete furnishing and installation of all labor, equipment, and materials, for one 150,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. It also includes, the foundation design, excavation and backfill, site work, valves and piping accessories, gravel access drive, electrical work, SCADA system, and painting. The estimated cost
of the Rudolph Foods Water Storage Tank Project is $1,500,000. Bids received after the date and time stated above will not be accepted. Bidding Documents may be examined at AECOMs office located at 277 West Nationwide Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio and at the following locations: Allen Water District, 3230 N. Cole Street, Lima OH Plan Rooms: Cleveland, Ohio (44114), 2627 Hamilton Avenue (216-241-7344) Cincinnati, Ohio (45236), 7265 Kenwood Road, Suite 200 (513-345-8200) Columbus, Ohio (43215-1073), Columbus Builders Exchange, 1175 Dublin Road (614-486-6575) Electronic sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained by email request to jacob.mix@aecom.com. Bid addenda will be issued via email to all plan holders no later than 72 hours prior to the bid. A Virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on December 14, 2021. A meeting invite will be sent to all plan holders no less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting. Each bidder shall submit with his bid a bid guaranty in the form of either a bond for the amount of 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid in accordance with Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54. The form of the bond shall be in accordance with the requirements of Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54. Security shall be drawn in favor of the Allen Water District. Other submittal requirements are listed in the Bidding Documents in Section 00 4393, Bidders Checklist. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure to the extent permitted by law and to award the bid on the basis of the lowest and best bidder as it deems to be the in the best interest of the County of Allen, Ohio.
