Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server License Standard

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server License Standard, with EMERGENT.The Clinical Center requires to renew 42 Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server License Standard with maintenance and Standard Support (9X5 Phone and web Support) for Red Hat Linux Server for one year. Red Hat Linux is used on BTRIS servers as an operating system. BTRIS would also like to purchase Smart Management with Satellite for each of the licenses. Satellite will allow for easier management of the BTRIS servers and help BTRIS meet more stringent security requirements.This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting.
