2021-019 Apperson Drive Traffic Signal Replacement Description: The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from VDOT prequalified Bidders to replace two (2) existing mast arm poles and one (1) existing traffic cabinet. One (1) mast arm pole at the intersection of Apperson Drive and Keagy Road and one (1) mast arm pole and one (1) traffic cabinet at the intersection of Apperson Drive and Colorado Street, in accordance with Invitation To Bid (ITB) #2021-019. There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid conference held at 10:00 a.m. on March 9, 2021 at the Electric Department, 730 W. Main Street, Salem, VA 24153. There will also be a site visit after the pre-bid meeting. Bidders MUST attend this meeting in order to bid on this project. One (1) original and two (2) copies of the sealed bid will be received at the office of the Purchasing Department for the City of Salem until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in City
