the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy (ALM) VA Memorial Hospital Distribution Area in accordance with the specifications of the Statement of Work. Contractor will assemble and install wheeled shelving carts per product instructions. Cart layout/placement and configuration will be according to customer approved design and layout. Contractor will remove and properly dispose existing/old carts and unpack, assemble, install, and configure new carts in ALM Distribution Area room. Contractor will remove all packing material and clean premise area daily after completing necessary work-related tasks. Operations will be contractor supervised and performed by certified technicians during normal duty hours 8am-4pm (CST) Monday-Friday. A contractor and government coordination and meeting(s) will be held prior to any commencing contract tasks. Salient Characteristics Wheeled basket shelving carts of 4 x 2 and 5 x 30 and 81 high with 4 and 5 levels Basket and flat carts will allow shelves to adjust and units be stabilized Basket dividers will allow creation of compartments within each basket and shelf level Drop front and sloped sides provide easy access to stored items Bulk storage dividers 8 and 12 Chrome wire shelving adjustable with baskets Galvanized steel cart base Neoprene castors Basket containing plastic sheet for basket base which prevent items falling Brake lock and sealed bearing system Location Audie L. Murphy VA Memorial Hospital, 7400 Merton Minter Drive, San Antonio TX 78229, Distribution Area/Room Period of Performance FY 2020 Deliverables/Supplies According to contract specifications and Statement of Work Government Inherent Functions: Contractor shall not perform inherently governmental functions. This includes, but is not limited to, determination of agency policy, determination of Federal program priorities for budget requests, direction and control of government employees, selection or non-selection of individuals for Federal Government employment including the interviewing of individuals for employment, approval of position descriptions and performance standards for Federal employees, approving any contractual documents, approval of Federal licensing actions and inspections, and/or determination of budget policy, guidance, and strategy. Information Systems Officer, Information Protection: The contractor will not have access to VA Desktop computers, nor will they have access to online resources belonging to the government while conducting services. If removal of equipment from the VA is required, any memory storage devices, such as hard drives, solid state drives and non-volatile memory units will remain in VA control and will not be removed from VA custody. Privacy Officer: The contractor will not have access to Patient Health Information (PHI) nor will they have the capability of accessing patient information during the services provided to the VA. Records Manager: There will be no federal records created, maintained, used or dispositioned with this contract; regardless of format [paper, electronic, etc.] or mode of transmission [e-mail, fax, etc.].
