Sealed bids must be delivered or in the possession of the Director of business on or before 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Bids will be opened, reviewed and tallied at this hour. Presentation of bid information will be made to the Board of Trustees. Any bids received after bid opening time, will not be considered. 2. Vendor must specify delivery date of the completed units. The District desires these units to be delivered on or before June 20, 2025. If the delivery schedule as specified cannot be met; vendor must specify when delivery can be guaranteed in the appropriate space provided on the bid reply form. 3. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to award any portion thereof to the bidder whose product best meets
the needs of the School District. 4. All units must meet or exceed Idaho and Federal Safety Standards as revised, plus the additional specifications indicated on the attached sheets. It shall be the duty of the bidder to be aware of these requirements on a current basis and inform the District at any point concerning changes in specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a current manufacturer’s specifications, warranties, drawings or photographs to enable the Board of Trustees to properly interpret the features and quality of the units being bid. Not submitting this requested information may render a bid voidable. 5. Bids are requested for (3) Three 77-78 passenger medium duty diesel powered Conventional type units http://www.d91.k12.id.us/ 6. Please note all exceptions to the attached specifications on the bottom of the bid reply form. Write “none” if you maintain the product being bid as having no exceptions to the specification. YOU MUST RESPOND TO THE EXCEPTIONS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS. 7. In determining the lowest responsible bid for the purpose of compliance with applicable Idaho Law requiring contracts to be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, the School District will consider the following items together with such other considerations as may arise in a specific instance. A. Price is a major consideration, but not the sole consideration and may be considered secondary to other and alternative considerations when it is determined by the District to be in its best interest. B. Reputation for reliability of equipment or products. C. Compatibility of equipment and/or products with other equipment or products presently owned and/or used by the District. D. The ability of the District’s Maintenance Department in maintaining the equipment or products. E. The availability of parts and/or inventory of parts and exchangeability of the parts by the District.
