This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation number FA822723R1024 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and its supplements.This requirement is a 100% Small Business set aside. This announcement is filed under NAICS code 337127 with small business size standard of 500 employees and Product Supply Code 7110. The Government anticipates this acquisition to be a Brand Name award for the manufacturer Vidmar. See Brand Name Justification attached to this solicitation. This requirement will furnish Vidmar parts to overhaul multiple Periodic Maintenance Trailers (PMTs). The Government anticipates issuing a

single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Delivery Orders will be made from the original contract with a total minimum guarantee of no less than $5,000.00 with a contract ceiling maximum of $90,000.00. The basic period of performance will span from date of award through twelve (12) months after receipt of award, with two (2) additional ordering periods for a total of three (3) ordering periods – please see 10240_Performace Work Statement for specific details.Please see attachment "Vidmar RFQ FA822723R1024" for anticipated CLIN structure for this award.All CLINs will be established on a Firm Fixed price basis.All proposals must indicate if the vendor can achieve the three (3) ordering periods of one (1) year each for each ordering period. All proposals must also indicate if the vendor can achieve delivery within seventy (70) calendar days after receipt of order. If this delivery is not practicable, vendors must propose an alternate delivery schedule.Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to: price; meeting specifications in product description; and, delivery within the specified timeframe.Any exceptions to the Equipment List must be identified in the quote.
