Use of Funds
Grant funds can be used to help improve the quality and timeliness of forensic science and medical examiner services. Units of local government may apply for competitive funding directly to the National Institute of Justice. See the solicitation identified below for details.
Limited Eligibility
Eligible applicants include accredited Forensic Science Laboratories and Medical Examiner's Office who meet the specific application requirements outlined by the National Institute of Justice solicitation located at https://www.nij.gov/funding/Documents/solicitations/NIJ-2018-13760.pdf
