Yolo County Library is looking for suppliers to design, upfit, and deliver a new cargo van that will serve as a bookmobile for delivery of library services at various locations in both rural and suburban environments within the County of Yolo, California. This project was supported in whole or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the California State Library. 
The bookmobile will be in constant use, driving 100+ miles at times fully loaded with books, audiovisuals, and a variety of other technology. Yolo County staff must have access to the Internet to complete library transactions. Internet access must be accessible to bookmobile patrons. Library materials must be easily transported on and off the bookmobile during its multiple stops. The vehicle must have the ability to charge multiple mobile devices for library patrons. The bookmobile shall include an alternate power source to provide these services without the need of the vehicle engine running or use of a gas-powered generator. Description:
