Overview: 
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive bids from qualified licensed plumbing contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to r
eplace 4" cast iron drain line between intake drains, include removal and replacement of concrete slab as needed to perform work and provide a complete working drainage system.  See

It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
 
There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled at this time.  Interested bidders can schedule a site visit with the Purchasing Agent listed on the solicitation via email at julie.randall@iowadot.us  .
 
The estimated project start and completion dates: Work to begin upon award and is to be completed by June 15, 2022.
 
The Iowa DOT is exempt from Sales Tax.  Please do not included sales tax in your bid amount.
