Administrative Assistant – Public WorksVillage of Grafton, WIThe Village of Grafton Department of Public Works is excited to accept applications for the Administrative Assistant position. The Public Works and Engineering Department requires a hardworking, energetic, and detail-oriented person to fill this vital role. The position is fast-paced and the job holder will perform a wide variety of routine and complex clerical, customer service and administrative tasks in keeping official records, providing administrative support to the Department of Public Works staff, and assisting in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the department.  The Department of Public Works and Engineering includes 12 Crewpersons, a Superintendent, an Engineering Technician and the Director/Village Engineer, who together with the Administrative Assistant work hard to maintain the Village streets, buildings, parks, trees, storm drainage systems, and associated equipment. The Village of Grafton offers a full benefits package including health insurance and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.  Starting wages are $21.86/hour - $25.69/hour depending on qualifications.
