SMUD is seeking Proposers to assist with the implementation of the Multifamily Go Electric Program, which will encourage customers to convert from natural gas usage to efficient electric equipment and appliances. The Program is for property owners that want to retrofit and upgrade at least 80% of the units for Multifamily properties with 5 or more units. Under direction of the SMUD Multifamily Go Electric Program Manager, proposers are expected to support the four efforts as described below: 1. Program Design Assistance: The Proposer will be expected to assist SMUD staff with the creation of a program implementation plan to ensure a consistent program delivery for our customers. 2. Program Management Support: Recruit new projects, provide program technical assistance, and help customers to identify electrification projects, resulting in GHG reduction and energy savings over the contract period. 3. Referral to other SMUD programs: The Proposer will be expected to develop a process to ensure a smooth transition to lead the customer to other SMUD programs, supporting a seamless customer experience. 4. Program Enhancement: Work collaboratively with SMUD program staff to continually improve processes and program design elements as appropriate.
