Greenville County is undertaking a comprehensive initiative to enhance and expand our waste management facilities located in South Greenville County. With a portfolio including a 400,000 TPY Subtitle D landfill, a 75,000 TPY Class II landfill, and various supporting infrastructure spanning 1,000 acres, we are committed to improving operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.In the next five years, our focus will be on bolstering infrastructure across our Class II and Class III landfills to accommodate additional cells and meet growing waste disposal demands. This expansion necessitates strategic planning and collaboration with experienced vendors capable of delivering reliable construction and infrastructure solutions.Furthermore, we operate a range of waste management facilities including a Class II compost facility, Leachate Evaporation Facility, Residential Waste and Recycling Centers, and a Waste Tire Collection Facility. Additionally, our partnership with a developer
on an RNG project underscores our commitment to exploring renewable energy initiatives.To support our long-term planning efforts, we rely on our trusted consultants to provide comprehensive annual reports, offering invaluable insights into airspace consumption, forecasting, and twenty-year proforma projections for future construction costs.
