This is an 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.  The notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified 8(a) and SDB manufacturers and dealers for the attached NAICS codes/Federal Supply Codes managed by Defense Logistics Agency Aviation.  Please no service providers. We do not procure services. Background:  Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is the aviation demand and supply manager for Defense Logistics Agency and is the U.S. military’s integrated material manager for more than 1.7 million national stock number items, industrial retail supply and depot-level reparable acquisitions. We award over $1 billion to small business yearly. Purpose and Objectives:  OMB letter M-22-03 “Advancing Equity in Federal Procurement” increased emphasis on the SDB and the 8(a) programs in Federal contracting.
